Night Bar, Shadow Land and a Sunset

"The Pond" :- This is a night image of "The Pond" bar and restaurant located at the top of Gloucester Rd in the city of Brighton, England. A normal bar type cenario downstairs with a very good Thai restaurant upstairs. I don't know much about the history of the bar other than it was built somewhere within the early 1800's, why it's called "The Pond" evades me but I am guessing that there used to be one within the vicinity.

"Moving On" :- Captured at the very beginning of the New Year. The image is of a public bridleway that runs along farmland in the village of Ovingdean near the city of Brighton on the south coast of England. I liked the stark silhouetted branches and the way the harsh shadow cut across the gate.

"The Pipeline" :- I have never noticed this pipeline stretching into the sea on the beach at Rottingdean, England. The wood that supports it looks very old and weathered so it's definitely been there for some time. I went back a few weeks after taking this shot and couldn't find it again. Most baffling. I am assuming that on this particular day the tide was once again unusually low and exposed more of the beach than we would normally see or expect. Anyway, the shot was taken late afternoon / early evening a couple of months ago on Dec 12th 2012 just as the sun was giving up the fight to stay up.
