Wooden Hut, Winter Beach and Sunset Road

"18 Hole Golf Course" :- This is the small hut / kiosk where you hire out a few pitch and putt golf clubs and balls for the relatively small golf course near the village of Rottingdean on the south coast of England. It's a fun afternoon's entertainment for all ages. Many times I have seen families out on the course doing their best to get around in under 100. Children swinging wildly about simply trying to hit the ball. Adults bracing themselves against the wind that's blowing in off the sea and thundering up over the cliff top.

"Calm " :- A still and calm seafront in Brighton on the south coast of England. It was at the end of November (2012) and the temperatures were dropping rapidly so the beaches were devoid of tourists and only a few signs of life were braving the elements. It was late afternoon and I'd been on the beach capturing the stunning sunset. It then occurred to me to turn around and shoot towards the East and the famous Victorian Brighton Pier as the light was perfect. I was originally going to process the image in color but soon realised that the strong lines and tones were perfect for a black and white conversion.

"The Mundane & The Beautiful" :- It had been raining all afternoon causing the roads to flood in places and the foot paths and bridleways to be deep in mud. Then the rain stopped, the skies started to clear and nature put on one of it's wondrous displays again as the sun bid us farewell for the evening. This was captured a few minutes from my home in the village of Ovingdean near the city of Brighton, England.
