"Between Plough and Pond" :- The title says it all really. "The Plough" in question is a well known village pub in Rottingdean and it's located right next to the famous village pond. The pathway in the image that's caught in the sunlight runs between the two (the old flint wall of the pub runs down the left of this image with the reeds and rushes of the pond to the right. Rottingdean is a village a few miles East of the city of Brighton and Hove, in East Sussex, on the south coast of England.
"Goldeneye" :- A hazy and somewhat thwarted sun lowers itself over the south downs. Dark, menacing clouds roll in from the sea and effectively throw Brighton into darkness. There's a cold smell in the air that says something bad is on its way. The shot was taken from the side of The Drove, a long winding road that runs between the villages of Woodingdean in Brighton and Falmer in the Lewes District of East Sussex.
